Top West End advisors host real estate forum

Realtor Rob Joyce & lawyer Dennis Dahl team up to teach pitfalls of marketplace

The public is invited to hear four real estate professionals discuss every aspect of buying and selling condos at a free public forum in the West End next Tuesday.

Once again top-producing West End realtor Rob Joyce and respected lawyer Dennis Dahl co-present their free workshop designed to inform, educate and enlighten the average buyer.

The forum will be held Tuesday, July 8th at the Coast Plaza Hotel on Comox Street, starting at 7:00 p.m.

“The forums are specifically designed for home owners, working people who are buying or selling a condo as their principal residence,” says Joyce the West End specialist with Sutton West Coast Realty. Joyce has lived in the West End for 29 years and sells exclusively in the West End. Both he and Dahl have long records of community involvement.

Their meetings have received rave reviews from past participants who have enjoyed the candid approach offered by Joyce and Dahl. Both have extensive backgrounds in the civil rights and political arenas.

Joyce said he enjoys hosting the forums. “They always begin quietly, but the audience is on its feet within minutes with tough questions they didn’t feel they could ask.  We offer a no holes barred straight-up approach in a townhall format,” Joyce says. “We don’t ask for names or telephone numbers and we are definitely not trying to sell anything.”

In addition to Dahl’s legal skills and Joyce’s informative real estate savvy, the workshops feature in depth advice form mortgage broker, Bruce Coleman, and home inspector, Manfred Soucker.

“The forums are public and people can ask any question of the experts,” says Joyce.  “We feel information is a powerful tool in the marketplace. We don’t have all the answers, but the four of us pack a lot of punch and have traveled down a lot of roads in the West End real estate community.”
